Malaysia Public Holidays & Long Weekends 2021
Author Avatar

Once again, we help you plan your annual leave by highlighting which public holidays fall near the weekends – so that you can enjoy a longer break just by applying for one or two days of leave. Of course, while we may not be able to travel as much this year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we still need to take some time off from work to rest and recharge.

Take a look at the upcoming long weekends for 2021 below to plan your leave accordingly!

Sadly, some public holidays such as Labour Day, Christmas, and 2022’s New Year all fall on Saturdays this year – so you won’t enjoy the additional day off if you normally have a Monday to Friday work week. On the bright side, we still have long weekends to look forward to in the months of January, February, May, June, and July – with April, August, September, October, and November also offering 4-day weekends if you apply for just one day of leave.

So, plan your leave wisely as usual this year and remember to get some time away from work even if the borders are still closed!
