Malaysia Airlines’ Enrich loyalty programme is offering bonus Enrich Points [PDF] to members who convert their bank reward points during a limited-time promotion in early 2026.
The promotion applies to point conversions from selected credit cards issued by participating banks in Malaysia and Indonesia. Eligible members can earn additional Enrich Points on top of their usual conversion amount, depending on when the conversion is completed.
The promotion runs in two phases, with different bonus rates.
Conversions completed between 4 February and 6 February 2026 qualify for a 20% bonus on Enrich Points earned. A lower 10% bonus applies to conversions made from 7 February to 17 March 2026.
To be eligible, the points conversion must be successfully completed within the promotion period. Transactions processed after the end date are excluded.
The promotion is open to all Enrich members with an active account, as long as they hold eligible credit cards from participating banks.
The Enrich account name must match the cardholder’s name exactly. Conversions made under mismatched names or incorrect Enrich membership numbers are treated as final and are not eligible for correction or reversal.
A wide range of banks are included in the promotion, covering major Malaysian issuers such as Affin Bank, Alliance Bank, AmBank, Bank Islam, Bank Rakyat, Bank Simpanan Nasional, CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, HSBC, Maybank, Public Bank, RHB Bank, UOB, and Standard Chartered. Selected cards from Indonesian banks are also included.
Each bank sets its own minimum conversion threshold, meaning cardholders must convert a specified number of bank reward points or air miles to qualify. These thresholds vary by bank and card type and can range from several thousand points to higher minimums for premium cards.
Bonus Enrich Points are awarded in addition to the base Enrich Points from the conversion. For example, converting points equivalent to 1,000 Enrich Points during the 20% bonus period results in a total of 1,200 Enrich Points credited.
Both base points and bonus points are credited to the member’s Enrich account within 14 working days after the issuing bank submits the conversion. Once submitted, conversions cannot be reversed.
Base Enrich Points earned from conversions are valid for three years from the date they are credited. Bonus Enrich Points earned under the promotion have a shorter validity period of one year.
The promotion is capped at three million Enrich Points per member per day. Any conversion activity received after 17 March 2026 is not eligible for bonus points.
Enrich and its bank partners do not allow corrections for incorrect Enrich membership numbers unless the error meets specific criteria. In most cases, conversions made using the wrong membership number are treated as final.
If there are delays in points crediting, members are advised to contact their issuing bank directly, as banks are responsible for submitting conversion data to Enrich.
For cardholders who regularly convert bank reward points into airline miles, the promotion offers a chance to stretch the value of existing points without additional spending. The higher 20% bonus window is short, making timing an important factor for those planning large conversions.
The shorter validity of bonus points means members should also consider their travel plans before converting. Points earned under the promotion may expire sooner than regular Enrich Points if left unused.
Because minimum conversion thresholds vary widely by bank and card type, cardholders may benefit from checking their specific card requirements before initiating a transfer. Understanding these thresholds can help avoid incomplete or ineligible conversions.
All things considered, the promotion is best suited for Enrich members who already plan to redeem miles in the near to medium term, rather than those looking to store points for long-term use.
