Popular convenience store, Family Mart has launched its own loyalty programme via a mobile app called MY FamilyMart.

As part of Family Mart’s membership perks, members earn 1 point for every RM1 spent. Before paying for a purchase, customers should first show their member QR code to the cashier to be scanned. These accumulated points can be subsequently used to redeem future deals and rewards. Furthermore, customers can also claim a complimentary Sofuto ice cream during their birthday month.

Other helpful features include locating the Family Mart nearest to a customer and directing them how to get there, as well as keeping customers up-to-date with the latest news and promotions.

In conjunction with the release of its app, the Japanese convenience store will be giving away weekly in-app vouchers to members who spend a minimum of RM5 in a single receipt. To kick start its first week of promotions, Family Mart is offering customers a free ice Sofuto cream of their choice in either green tea or dark chocolate flavours.

MY FamilyMart is available for download on both Google Play and the App Store.
