The operator of Caltex, Chevron Malaysia Limited announced that its CaltexGO app has now been officially enabled for use at all Caltex stations across the country.

Prior to this, the app can only be used at stations within the Klang Valley after its official launch in September 2021. This is as the app was still in its trial phase back then.

With this latest development, Caltex customers nationwide can now pay for their fuel quickly and conveniently using the CaltexGO app, instead of having to go to a payment counter. Remember to register and save your credit or debit card within the app prior to using it as CaltexGO does not carry an in-app wallet. E-receipts will also be provided once payments are successfully made.

You will also be able to link your Journey loyalty card (if you have one) to your CaltexGO app to earn BPoints as you refuel. These loyalty points can then be redeemed for future fuel purchases via the app; just check your BPoints balance when you need to refuel next time, redeem them, and pay any remaining amount required.

On top of that, CaltexGO users can receive notifications via the app when there are new promotions from Caltex or its partners. This means you’ll always be kept up to date with regard to the latest perks available as a Caltex customer.

The vice president of Asia Pacific sales for Chevron International Fuels & Lubricants, Toh Yu Lee said that CaltexGO is an example of the company’s effort at finding new ways to reach out to customers via latest customer connection trends, namely digitalisation. “CaltexGO is a tool for us to do just that, and its nationwide accessibility will now make it more convenient for more consumers to use,” he added.

In conjunction with the nationwide launch of the CaltexGO app, Caltex is running a campaign that allows its customer to earn RM5 cashback when they refuel using the app (minimum spend RM30). Each CaltexGO user can tap into this benefit twice during the entire promotion period, which is set to end on 30 June 2022 (cashback redemption period until 31 July 2022).

The CaltexGO app can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the App Store.
