Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN) is once again collaborating with e-commerce platform Shopee to bring back the Jimat Air campaign, now in its third reiteration. Already ongoing, Jimat Air 3.0 is set to run until 31 December 2022.

Just as how Jimat Air 1.0 sought to encourage Malaysians to use water-efficient appliances, Jimat 3.0 also aims to continue improving the public’s access to similar products that are recognised under the Water-Efficient Product Labelling Scheme (WEPLS) guidelines set by SPAN. This time round, eligible individuals will be able to obtain two types of discount vouchers meant for different categories of items, namely:

50% off (capped at RM50)	Water taps Shower heads	1x

While the total rebate provided under Jimat Air 3.0 is slightly lesser in comparison to Jimat Air 1.0 and 2.0 – which offered rebates of RM200 and RM300 (with another 50% off voucher), respectively – these latest vouchers are still able to offer substantial savings on your purchases of washing machines and other fittings. Approved appliances and equipment that can be purchased under the Jimat Air 3.0 campaign include those from brands such as Toshiba, Midea, LG, Electrolux, and Bareno.

As was the case before, you must first verify your ShopeePay and submit your water bill account information through Shopee in order to be eligible for the discounts provided under Jimat Air 3.0. The form can be accessed via the Jimat Air 3.0 landing page.

Once your form is submitted and approved, the vouchers will then be credited into your account within 14 days. In the meantime, you can browse through Shopee’s catalogue for items with the Jimat Air 3.0 label and add your preferred appliances to your cart; once you receive your vouchers, go ahead and apply them during the checkout process to enjoy the discounts! You can also find the discount vouchers under the “My Vouchers” tab in your account profile page.

Shopee highlighted, however, that users who have previously redeemed discount vouchers during the Jimat Air 1.0 and Jimat Air 2.0 campaigns are not eligible to claim Jimat 3.0 voucher(s) that are from the same category. So for instance, if you’ve claimed the discount voucher for washing machines under previous Jimat Air campaigns, then you can only tap into the 50% rebate voucher for water taps and shower heads in Jimat Air 3.0.
