Selangkah App To Offer New Cashless Payment Solutions
Author Avatar

Selangor’s Covid-19 initiative app, Selangkah, will now offer some new cashless payment solutions. This will be in the form of the new Selangkah Biz feature for businesses and traders, and the upcoming Selangkah Pay wallet.

Under the Selangkah Biz feature, the Selangkah app will provide a cashless transaction facility for small and medium enterprise (SME) and micro traders. It will allow traders to receive payments from any e-wallet provider just by registering as a merchant at with Selangkah Biz. In a video shared by Selangkah, e-wallets like kiplePay, Boost, GrabPay, Touch ’n Go eWallet, Alipay, and Maybank QRPay were listed under this function.

In the near future, Selangkah will further expand on its cashless solutions with the introduction of Selangkah Pay, which allows you to pay for bills and summonses within the app, and Selangkah Wallet, which will enable cashless payments and serve as a platform for users to receive government aid.

In addition to the payment features, the latest update to the Selangkah app has introduced some improved Covid-19 related functions as well. With the Dual System scanning, you can now use the Selangkah app to scan both MySejahtera and Selangkah QR codes – or you can now check in to a location via GPS instead. Besides that, there is also the new Selangkah ID, an integrated single sign on system for Selangor residents to access government-related services and Selangkah’s products and offerings – such as the state’s upcoming Covid-19 vaccine pack.

You can find out more about the Selangkah app here or download it on Google Play or the App Store.
