CIMB customers can now earn 10% cashback when they use the CIMB QR Pay function to pay at selected restaurants and eateries via a cashback campaign by the bank. The CIMB QR Pay Cashback campaign, which is already ongoing, will run until 31 January 2021.

Open to new and existing CIMB Clicks users who have activated their QR Pay, the function must be linked it to a CIMB debit, credit, or prepaid card. Restaurants and eateries that you can visit for this campaign include Chilli’s Grill & Bar, The Daily Grind, Expressolab, Dome, and Bijan Restaurant.

You’ll also be happy to hear that the campaign does not have a minimum spend requirement, which means that you’re free to spend any amount that you like and still earn 10% cashback. However, the cashback is capped at RM1 for each transaction; in other words, the campaign stops rewarding you once you’ve spent RM10.

Note as well that you can only earn a maximum of RM5 of cashback rewards each month. This amounts to a cumulative RM15 over the three-month campaign period. CIMB has allocated a total of RM350,000 for the whole campaign, and the cashback rewards will be disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis. You can expect to receive your cashback within 14 days of each eligible transaction.

To find out more about CIMB’s QR Pay Cashback campaign, head on over to the bank’s website. You can also check out the full list of participating merchants here.
