GXBank is running its Get Xtra8 Bonus GrabRewards Points campaign from today until 15 February 2024, allowing you to earn 8x GrabRewards Points for every RM1 that you spend on selected Grab services. This is in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations.

Open to all GXBank accountholders who have linked their GX account to their Grab account, you will be able to earn 8x GrabRewards Points when you pay for the following services on your Grab app via the linked GX account:

  • GrabFood
  • GrabCar
  • GrabMart
  • GrabExpress

This 8x GrabRewards Points will be awarded regardless of whether you are subscribed to a GrabUnlimited plan or not. To break things down for better clarity, those who are subscribed to a plan will earn the boosted base of 1.5x GrabRewards Points via your plan and a bonus of 6.5x GrabRewards Points via this campaign (total 8x GrabRewards Points). Meanwhile, non-subscribers will earn 0.75x base GrabRewards Points and 7.25x bonus GrabRewards Points (also total 8x GrabRewards Points).

GXBank also clarified that the points will be credited instantly into your Grab account once your eligible transaction is successfully completed. However, in certain exceptional cases, this may take up to two weeks.

Finally, no registration is required to participate in this campaign. If you’re interested to join in, just go ahead and link your GX account with your Grab account, and start spending via the eligible Grab services.
