Hong Leong Bank Berhad and Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad are offering up to RM300,000 in total instant cashback under the HLB Connect Festive Instant Cashback Promotion, which is currently running until 9 May 2026. The promotion is open to both new and existing users of the HLB Connect app who perform eligible digital payment transactions during the campaign period.
The cashback pool is shared across multiple payment types, with weekly allocations capped and distributed on a first come, first served basis.
The promotion’s total cashback allocation of up to RM300,000 is distributed across DuitNow QR payments, FPX or DuitNow online banking and wallet payments, and JomPAY transactions.
Each category has a fixed weekly cashback allocation. Once the weekly cap is fully claimed, no further cashback is awarded for that week, even if the promotion period is still ongoing. Cashback is credited instantly after each eligible transaction, subject to availability.
Customers can earn small instant cashback amounts when making qualifying transactions through the HLB Connect app.
DuitNow QR payments at local merchants offer cashback for transactions above a minimum spend, while FPX or DuitNow online banking and wallet payments provide higher cashback per transaction, also subject to minimum spend requirements. JomPAY bill payments are included, allowing cashback to be earned on routine household expenses.
Across all categories, weekly cashback caps apply at the individual customer level, limiting how much each user can earn during the promotion period.
The promotion is open to new and existing individual customers who use HLB Connect and hold an eligible current account, savings account, Islamic account, or credit card with Hong Leong Bank or Hong Leong Islamic Bank.
Customers who register for HLB Connect during the promotion period are also eligible, provided they complete qualifying transactions within the campaign window.
Cashback earned under the promotion is credited instantly into the customer’s account or credit card, with confirmation displayed on the transaction screen within the HLB Connect app.
Cashback availability depends on weekly allocation limits. Once a category’s weekly pool is fully utilised, further transactions in that week will not receive cashback.
