UOB Bank’s Cybersale campaign is currently ongoing, allowing its cardholders the chance to win a range of exclusive prizes every month, including Samsung phones, Apple watches, and Sharp Android TVs. Set to run until 31 December 2022, you can participate by performing selected transactions using your cards to earn entries.

Open to both UOB debit and credit cardmembers (except for corporate credit cardholders), you can earn entries for every RM100 eligible spend made using your UOB credit or debit card during the campaign period. However, the number of entries earned will differ depending on the category of your spend, as shown below:

Note that only retail transactions are accepted for the campaign; payments such as balance transfers, cash transfers, and easy payment plans do not qualify as eligible transactions.

UOB explained in its T&C document that to choose its final winners, the bank will start by using a randomiser programme to create a list of shortlisted eligible winners. These shortlisted winners will then be contacted within eight weeks of each participating month via SMS, requiring them to answer one question correctly; those who do will be confirmed as a winner.

If you do win, the prizes will be delivered to you within 12 weeks from the end of each campaign month. Do also be aware that each cardholder is only allowed to win a maximum of one prize each campaign month, and two prizes throughout the entire campaign period.

UOB cardholders who would like to join the campaign will need to register their participation by sending an SMS (“UOB3”) to 66300. Alternatively, you can register online via UOB’s landing page for the Cybersale 2022 campaign.
