AmBank Offers 50% Cashback On First Debit Card Spend

AmBank has introduced a cashback campaign for new Visa Debit cardholders. The promotion, called AmBank Visa Debit Card 50% Cashback upon 1st Spend, will run from 1 September 2025 until 31 December 2025.

During this time, eligible customers can enjoy 50% cashback on their first transaction of RM10 or more. The cashback is capped at RM5 per customer and limited to a set number of winners each month.

Who Is Eligible To Join

The campaign is open to Malaysians aged 18 years and above who apply for and activate a new AmBank Visa Debit Card within the campaign period. Customers must not have been issued an AmBank Visa Debit Card before this promotion.

No separate enrolment is required, as eligible customers are automatically included once they meet the criteria. Employees of AmBank Group and their immediate family members are also eligible to take part.

Cashback Rewards And Monthly Cycles

The campaign is divided into four monthly cycles, running from September to December 2025. In each cycle, 3,500 winners will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

Successful participants will receive 50% cashback on their first eligible spend of RM10 or more, capped at RM5 per customer. Cashback will be credited into the winner’s participating account within 30 working days after the cycle ends. Winners will also be notified via SMS or AmOnline push notification.

Minimum Spend Requirement

To qualify, customers must activate their debit card and make a minimum spend of RM10 in a single transaction within 14 days of activation, and no later than 31 December 2025. Transactions can be carried out online, via e-commerce, or through physical card payments.

Additional Benefits For Cardholders

Alongside the cashback offer, AmBank debit cardholders can also enjoy seamless e-wallet top-ups. Popular e-wallets such as Touch ’n Go and GrabPay can be reloaded directly using the AmBank Visa Debit Card with no additional fees. Customers only need to link their card to the chosen e-wallet to reload instantly.

AmBank reminds customers that only one cashback reward is allowed per eligible cardholder during the campaign period. The bank also reserves the right to amend or terminate the campaign with prior notice.
