If you are already using your MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i for everyday spending, the Raya period could come with a small bonus. From 26 February to 8 April 2026, eligible cardholders can earn RM50 cashback per week under the Tap Tap, Win Duit Raya campaign, with a maximum of RM300 throughout the campaign period.
The campaign runs across six weekly cycles, and participation does not require prior registration.
To qualify in any given week, cardholders must complete at least seven separate retail transactions, with each transaction valued at a minimum of RM10. This works out to at least RM70 in weekly spending, spread across multiple purchases rather than a single larger transaction.
The structure encourages consistent card usage rather than one-off spending. If the criteria are met in multiple weeks, cardholders may continue earning RM50 cashback per qualifying week, up to the overall RM300 cap.
Meeting the minimum requirement does not automatically guarantee cashback. Each week, only the top 100 eligible cardholders ranked by highest total qualifying spend will receive the RM50 reward.
Ranking is determined by the total value of eligible transactions posted within that campaign week. If more than 100 participants meet the minimum requirement, those with higher overall weekly spending will rank ahead. This means that while RM70 qualifies you for consideration, actual receipt of cashback depends on how much other participants spend during the same period.
Eligible transactions are limited to retail purchases made using the Debit Card-i, whether locally or overseas. Cash withdrawals, fund transfers, bill payments, government payments, quasi-cash transactions, and any refunded or reversed transactions are excluded.
Transactions are counted based on the posting date recorded in the bank’s system rather than the purchase date, which means spending close to the weekly cut-off may fall into the following campaign week.
Cashback will be credited within two months after the end of each campaign week. For example, spending recorded between 26 February and 4 March 2026 is scheduled for crediting by 4 May 2026, with subsequent weeks following similar timelines through early June.
To remain eligible, the Debit Card-i account must stay active and in good standing until the cashback is credited.
The campaign structure rewards frequent debit card usage across the week rather than occasional large transactions. Cardholders who already use their debit card for routine expenses such as groceries, petrol, dining, or online purchases may find it easier to meet the seven-transaction requirement organically.
Because cashback is capped at 100 recipients per week and ranked by total spending, the effective return depends on overall participation levels. Reaching the full RM300 requires qualifying in all six campaign weeks.
For those who are already spending through their debit card during the Raya period, the campaign offers a potential rebate on routine purchases. However, increasing spending solely to compete for ranking may reduce the net benefit if the additional outlay outweighs the cashback received.
