CIMB Adds RM50 Touch ’n Go Credit To Debit Card Save And Spend Campaign
Author Avatar

CIMB Bank Berhad and CIMB Islamic Bank have introduced a new RM50 Touch ’n Go eWallet credit under the CIMB Debit Mastercard Save And Spend Campaign. The added reward takes effect from 3 February 2026 and is available to eligible customers who register for the campaign.

The update expands the campaign’s benefits for customers who use their debit cards for everyday spending.

Registration Reward Introduced As Fourth Benefit

The RM50 Touch ’n Go eWallet credit is offered as a new Registration Reward, joining the existing Sign Up, Spend, and Save rewards. The reward is available to customers who successfully enrol in the campaign and hold a valid CIMB account with a CIMB Debit Mastercard during the campaign period.

Each eligible customer can receive the Registration Reward once, regardless of how many times they register.

More Registration Options From February 2026

From 3 February 2026, customers can also register for the campaign through multiple channels. In addition to the SMS registration option, customers may also enrol online via CIMB’s promotional webpage or through the CIMB OCTO mobile application.

The SMS option remains available and continues to carry a two way SMS charge. The additional channels provide more flexibility for customers who prefer digital banking platforms.

How Registration Reward Winners Are Selected

Registration Reward recipients are selected weekly using CIMB’s automated system. Selected customers will receive an SMS and must answer a question correctly within the specified time frame to confirm eligibility.

Up to 120 winners are selected each week. Where more than one participant qualifies at the same level, the customer with the highest spending amount in participating categories will be selected.

When The RM50 Credit Will Be Received

The RM50 Touch ’n Go eWallet credit will be fulfilled within 90 working days after 28 February 2026. Winners will be notified via SMS or email once the credit has been processed.

Customers should be aware of this timeline when planning their spending and expectations around the reward.

Account Status Still Determines Eligibility

Customers may be disqualified from the campaign if their CIMB account or debit card is closed, cancelled, or becomes delinquent during the campaign period. Rewards may also be forfeited if accounts are affected by legal or regulatory action before the reward is credited.

Keeping accounts active and in good standing remains a requirement under both CIMB conventional and Islamic banking terms.

What This Means For Everyday Spending

The addition of a Registration Reward shifts the campaign from usage based incentives to upfront participation benefits. For customers who already use debit cards for daily purchases, the update offers a clearer entry level incentive while maintaining existing spending and saving rewards.
