GOPAY Approved By BNM As White-Label E-Wallet Service Provider
Author Avatar

Payment platform GOPAY announced that it has been approved by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) as a white-label e-wallet service provider. It expects to complete its transition and roll out the updated GOPAY app (Android version) by 20 December 2022, while the iOS version is set to be made available in the first quarter of 2023.

In its notice, GOPAY said that this latest update will allow its users to tap into various payment services that are currently unavailable. These include paying for purchased goods by scanning a QR code (scan & pay), transferring funds to family and friends, as well as gaining access to financial services such as loan applications and digital gold investments.

GOPAY is a platform that you can use to earn instant cashback on payments for selected products, including bill payments (utilities, telco, council bills, and so on), mobile reloads, e-wallet top-up PINs, content subscription, and lifestyle products. The cashback percentage may vary depending on the products or services. It also taps into a referral and commission scheme to let you earn referral rewards and commission from your referees.

If you’d like to give GOPAY a try now, you can download it from Google Play and the App Store.
