Grab’s newest service, GrabMart, has started its pilot testing phase in the Klang Valley area. Grab users can now use the super app to purchase items from selected grocery stores, pharmacies, and convenience stores and have them delivered right to their doorstep.

Grab has listed stores such as Guardian, MyNews, Caring Pharmacy, BIG Pharmacy, MPH, MBG, and BMS Organics on GrabMart. Other available partners include a florist, ice cream shop, and even snacks and biscuit shops. Users can access GrabMart on the Grab app under GrabFood by searching for the Mart (beta) icon.

Just like with GrabFood, you can enter a certain store’s catalogue, add the items that you want to your order, and then pay with one of Grab’s accepted payment methods. The delivery fee for GrabMart ranges from RM5 to RM9, depending on the travel distance and you can track the delivery on your app. As with all of Grab’s services, using GrabMart will gain you Grab rewards points.

At present, GrabMart only covers selected areas within the Klang Valley such as Damansara Uptown, Bandar Utama, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kota Damansara, Mutiara Damansara, Mont Kiara, and Hartamas. The feature is currently in its trial phase while Grab studies the demand and availability for the GrabMart service.
