Grab and Maybank are back again with another Bonanza Challenge, this time allowing users to win up to 2,400 GrabRewards Points. Ongoing until 14 May 2022, you’ll need to meet two simple conditions – referred to as Milestones – in order to win the full reward.
Under Milestone 1, you’ll earn 600 GrabRewards Points when you link your Maybank2u account to your GrabPay and perform an auto top-up of RM100 for the first time. Following that, hit Milestone 2 by performing another auto top-up valued at RM500 (cumulative amount); this will earn you another 1,800 GrabRewards Points, giving you 2,400 Points in total.
Note that the top-up transaction of RM100 made for Milestone 1 will not contribute to the RM500 top-up required for Milestone 2, which means you’ll need to reload a cumulative amount of RM600 for the whole Bonanza Challenge. Additionally, you must complete Milestone 1 in order to be eligible for Milestone 2, and FPX transactions are not valid for the promo (all top-up transactions must be done automatically via a Maybank2u account linked to GrabPay).
Grab and Maybank further clarified that this campaign is open only to two categories of Grab users: those who have never linked their Maybank2u account to GrabPay before, and those who have previously linked their accounts before, but the link has expired.
Customers who successfully complete the Challenge will be awarded their GrabRewards Points within five working days, provided on a first-come first-served basis. There is a cap of 8,000 redemptions for Milestone 1 throughout the whole campaign period, and a separate limit of 3,500 redemptions for Milestone 2 – so act fast!
Finally, you can view your progress status for the Maybank-Grab Bonanza Challenge on your Grab app at any time; simply tap on the Challenges tile in your Account page to do so.
