Wholly owned subsidiary of Johor Corporation (JCorp), Virtualflex has partnered with Fass Payment Solutions (Fasspay) and Visa to roll out its upgraded payment and loyalty mobile app, KA$Hplus. The app will also come with a Visa prepaid card, linked to the app for a more convenient payment experience.

According to a statement, KA$Hplus has a maximum wallet size of RM10,000, and users will be issued a virtual and physical Visa prepaid card to use for their various purchases, including mobile commerce, in-store purchases, and bill payments. You’ll also be able to utilise the app to book e-hailing rides and purchase tickets for various public transportation. Other upcoming features that you can look forward to as well include various financial services, such as insurance, buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) services, and Islamic financing.

On top of that, KA$Hplus offers loyalty programmes that are offered by Virtualflex to earn perks like cashback rewards and rebates. There will be automatic rewards issued with the Visa prepaid card for both participating businesses and consumers too, although Virtualflex has yet to release further details on these.

“The introduction of KA$Hplus e-wallet and Visa’s prepaid card offer various features and digital services that brings the convenience and benefits of digitalisation to the fingertips of our employees and customers at JCorp,” said the chief technology officer of Virtualflex, Heng Wa Seng, adding that KA$Hplus will contribute to the social-economic development in Malaysia through digitalisation.

To note, Virtualflex actually has an existing payment and loyalty platform by the name of KA$H, which offers a KA$H Mastercard prepaid debit card as well. The upgraded KA$Hplus mobile app will serve alongside KA$H to bring enhanced features and benefits for the users. Additionally, Virtualflex shared that current KA$H users who wish to switch over to KA$Hplus can do so by opening a KA$Hplus account and transferring their current KA$H Wallet balance over to the new mobile app.

If you’d like to give the new KA$Hplus a try, go ahead and download the KA$Hplus app for free via Google Play, the App Store, and the Huawei AppGallery. After registering and activating your KA$Hplus account, top up your account and your Visa prepaid card will be delivered to you. There will also be an upcoming campaign in January 2022 that lets you win cash prizes of up to RM50,000 by signing up and spending with KA$Hplus – on top of various other promotions and early bird rewards.
