Online insurance aggregator GoInsuran has launched its official online store on e-commerce platform Shopee, making it easier for its customers to purchase and renew their insurance. Exclusive vouchers will also be available for purchase on its official Shopee store.
In a statement, GoInsuran – which is wholly owned by Tan Chong Motor Holdings – shared that customers will be able to purchase numerous types of insurance plans via its store, including travel, medical, home, and personal accident insurance. This is in addition to its usual and better-known service of car insurance and road tax renewal.
Customers may also purchase exclusive vouchers or promo codes on Shopee to help them gain some savings as they purchase or renew their insurance online; for instance, there is an e-voucher that lets you save 5% on your insurance renewal, costing only RM2. More than 24,000 unique vouchers will be available online for customers’ benefit.
The head of insurance business stream for Tan Chong Motor, Joshua Yong said that this move will enable the company to reach out to a wider customer base. “The current offering is just the beginning; we are already planning for more exciting items to be made available in the near future,” he said.
Meanwhile, the head of marketing campaign for Shopee, Kenneth Soh commented that this partnership will encourage more Malaysians to tap into the convenience offered by GoInsuran, on top of offering attractive discounts. “This collaboration also underlines Shopee’s commitment in helping brands reach new customers and unlock growth opportunities,” he said.
Tan Chong’s GoInsuran digital platform was originally developed to offer motorists an improved experience in renewing car insurance and road tax. It taps into latest technologies to provide a seamless process, from obtaining free quotations to making payments via various online payment methods with little hassle. Customers are also able to compare prices between various insurance providers at a glance.
