AirAsia has launched Fresh Xpress, a same-day delivery service that is made available for its online grocery shopping platform, airasia fresh. With this, customers who purchase selected fresh produce by 12pm will be able to have their groceries delivered straight to their doorsteps on the same day.
Driven by AirAsia’s logistics venture, Teleport, Fresh Xpress is currently available only in Klang Valley, although it is expected to be expanded to other areas soon. Customers who wish to utilise this service can do so by making their purchases via the Fresh Xpress tab on the airasia super app or the website. The fresh produce available for sale via Fresh Xpress include eggs, vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, and shrimp.
“We are pleased to provide shoppers the convenience, speed, and reliability of same-day delivery. During this challenging and unpredictable times, online grocery shopping provides a secure and convenient environment for Malaysians to shop,” said Lim Ben-Jie, the head of e-commerce for airasia super app.
Additionally, Lim emphasised that customers will be able to enjoy guaranteed freshness for all products on Fresh Xpress as they are directly sourced through airasia farm, its B2B fresh produce platform that connects farms directly to businesses. “We will continuously grow our product list and offerings for Fresh Xpress so shoppers can be sure to get the best deals on airasia fresh,” he said.
In conjunction with the launch of Fresh Xpress, airasia fresh customers can tap into an introductory offer that lets them get RM3 off on their purchases with a promo code (XPRESS) – slated to end on 10 June 2021. This is on top of an unlimited free delivery offer with a minimum spend of RM50, available throughout the month of June.
