Atome is preparing to launch its Atome Card in Malaysia, offering users a new way to shop with flexible payment options both locally and globally. While the card is not yet available, Malaysians can now register their interest by joining a waitlist through the Atome mobile app.

To join the waitlist, users simply need to update their app to the latest version and sign up through the dedicated section. Atome will notify users when the card officially launches, which is expected in the coming months, pending regulatory approval.

The Atome Card will function globally wherever Visa is accepted, and is designed to give users greater control over their spending. Once launched, it will offer interest-free payments for up to 40 days with no downpayment required, as well as Shariah-compliant instalment plans of up to 12 months. There will be no annual fees, and users will earn unlimited Atome+ points on every purchase.

Applying for the card will be free, and those who have joined the waitlist will be among the first to receive updates and early access once applications open.

Each user’s Available Spending Limit will be dynamically set based on their spending and repayment history, and reviewed periodically for a more personalised experience.

Atome is gradually rolling out the card information page within its app, so not all users will see it immediately. However, this will not affect the ability to join the waitlist or apply once the card becomes available.

For further assistance, users are encouraged to use the in-app chat feature to get their questions answered directly.
