ManagePay Systems Bhd (MPay) has announced a partnership with several entities to roll out a series of products, namely the MPAY PanPay MasterCard Prepaid Card, MPAY Smartlink Wallet, and MPAY Smartlink Online Wallet.

According to MPay’s announcement in a filing to Bursa Malaysia, MPay’s partners include the app creator Smartlink Asia Bhd, fintech outfit Richwood Ventures Bhd, direct selling outfit Panpay Holdings Sdn Bhd, and e-commerce outfit QMIS Richwood Blacktech Sdn Bhd. The four entities are collectively referred to as Smartlink.

Under the agreement, MPay will be responsible for the expertise and interface to the system for the management of the three products. Meanwhile, Smartlink will carry out the promotional functions and duties. “The parties shall endeavour to make MPAY Smartlink Online Wallet and MPAY PanPay (QMIS Richwood Blacktech) Mastercard Prepaid Card available to merchants’ outlets, as well as all Mastercard’s outlets throughout the world,” said MPay.

At present, not much information has been released with regard to the products, but MPay itself is a provider of end-to-end electronic payment solutions for banks and financial institutions, merchants, and card issuers with operations in Malaysia. Its solutions thus far include the EDCPOS (over-the-counter terminal solution for credit, debit, and prepaid card payments) and ECPOS (a portable point-of-sales solution).
