AirAsia is currently running a special meal promotion on its online food delivery platform, airasia food, allowing customers to purchase the signature dishes of selected restaurants at the price of one sen. Available until 23 June 2021, it is open to customers in the Klang Valley and Penang as airasia food is currently operating only in these areas.

Through this deal, AirAsia will promote the signature dish of one featured restaurant each day, with the F&B merchants set to change on a daily basis. According to AirAsia, it has arranged a line-up of “delectable signature offerings” over the coming days, with the list currently helmed by the following restaurants:

Customers in the Klang Valley who are interested in tapping into the promo can do so by using the promo code (1SENKL) when they make their purchases on the airasia food platform. Meanwhile, those based in Penang will need to use the promo code (1SENPG). Each customer is only allowed to make one redemption per day, and are provided on a first-come first-served basis.

On top of the one-sen-per-meal promotion, customers will also be able to enjoy unlimited free deliveries for deliveries made within 15km from the featured restaurant of the day.

The head of e-commerce for the airasia super app, Lim Ben-Jie said that this promotion is a special treat for AirAsia’s loyal customers who have been supportive of the airasia food platform. “We are confident that this limited time promotion will be a big hit so we strongly encourage customers to download the airasia super app now to be ready to order a 1 sen meal to your selected location,” he added.

Lim further said that AirAsia hopes to bring its signature Free Seats campaign to other parts of its business as it evolves from an airline into a super app with something for everyone’s daily lives. This is especiallly so for e-commerce offerings.
