Boost is now offering Covid-19 home swab tests at discounted prices, with packages starting from RM199 instead of the normal price of RM380. The test on offer is the real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test, and it will be provided by medical laboratories that are certified and accredited by the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia.
Those who purchase these tests will be able to make arrangements with the medical laboratories so that the necessary samples can be collected from your home at your preferred time and date. Then, depending on the package that you’ve bought, you can get your test results via email within a period of 12 hours to 3 days:

Note, too, that the packages have a validity period of 30 days from the date of purchase, and that they are not transferable or refundable.
Currently, this offer can be found in the home page of your Boost app, under the “What’s New” section. Before you go ahead and book the test, however, you’ll need to check if this Boost offer is available in your area. The app will automatically prompt you to enter your postcode to confirm when you try to make your purchase, after which you can then book your slot by filling in some basic personal information and contact details.
You can also expect a call from Boost’s partnering medical laboratories within 3 hours to confirm your preferred scheduled time and date if you made your purchases between 9am to 9pm, and the next day for purchase past 9pm. This will be followed by a confirmation email.

Lastly, if you’re buying this test for work purposes, you’ll be happy to know that you can tap into the subsidy scheme offered via the Program Saringan Prihatin (PSP) Perkeso programme. To briefly explain, the PSP Perkeso programme is a screening programme for Covid-19 outbreaks carried out for workers (including foreign workers) for companies that are allowed to operate during the MCO and its variations. It currently provides a subsidy of RM150 for Covid-19 tests, but you can only claim it via your employers (only in selected areas).
You can find out more about this offer from your Boost app.
