Enhanced TNG Cards Now Available At Selected Grocery Stores, Redeemed Using Bites Points

Touch ‘n Go (TNG) is now making its popular enhanced TNG card with near-field communication (NFC) capability available at several grocery stores across Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor Bahru. Specifically, it can be obtained at selected Village Grocer, Ben’s Independent Grocer (B.I.G), Leisure Grocer, and BSC Fine Foods outlets.

Note, though, that the enhanced TNG cards at these outlets are not for purchase by all members of the public. Instead, they are provided exclusively for members of the Bites loyalty programme, to be redeemed using Bites Points. Briefly, Bites is a digital loyalty programme that rewards Village Grocer and B.I.G customers for their patronage, offering benefits such as special offers, monthly recipes, and shopping privileges. They will also be able to accumulate Bites Points with every RM2 spent.

If you’re already a Bites Member with an account, you can redeem the enhanced TNG NFC card by firing up your Bites app and following these steps:

Tap into the “Rewards” section, followed by “Rewards Partner”
Scroll to find the TNG NFC card offer and redeem it
To collect your card after that, tap on “My Profile”, “My E-Voucher”, then the TNG NFC card offer
Present the barcode provided to the cashier

Each TNG card can be redeemed using 950 Bites Points, but as always, the offer is provided on a first-come first-served basis with limited stock – so hurry!

You can also download the Bites app for free from Google Play and the App Store to begin accumulating Bite Points, as well as to enjoy other exclusive rewards.

The enhanced TNG NFC card has been highly sought after since its launch back in April 2022, and is often snapped up promptly after the release of each batch. Aside from selected TNG service and sales centres, as well as petrol stations, it can also be bought online through TNG’s official Lazada store. Recently, TNG also released a limited edition Christmas charm that functions exactly like the enhanced TNG NFC card.
