Fave has enabled Touch ‘n Go (TNG) eWallet as a payment method on its app following the signing of a new partnership between the two entities.
According to Fave, this collaboration will incentivise users as they can stack rewards by receiving cashback via Fave while simultaneously tapping into TNG eWallet’s Goal Hunter loyalty programme. Specifically, users who connect and use their TNG eWallet on Fave will be able to earn up to 20% partner cashback, as well as one Goal Hunter stamp for every RM10 that they spend. On top of that, new Fave users using TNG eWallet on the app can also get an extra RM8 cashback.
Fave further noted that this partnership will also provide its users with a seamless payment experience, as well as more e-wallet payment options when spending on one platform. Additionally, it is in line with Fave’s vision to create an integrated payment ecosystem that rewards all shopping experience, while spurring the adoption of cashless payments within the country.
The chief executive officer of Fave, Joel Neoh also pointed out that the new generation of smart consumers now have an abundance of digital payment options to choose from as these methods have quickly gained traction within the country. “By partnering with Touch ‘n Go, we continue to offer innovative ways to pay while giving consumers every reason to choose contactless payments for a smarter and more rewarding shopping experience,” he said.
Meanwhile, the chief executive officer of TNG Digital Sdn Bhd, Ignatius Ong chimed in to say that the company hopes to offer a better and more robust user experience for cashless transactions via this partnership. “Despite the current pandemic, we have seen the trend of increased adoption of e-wallets, as well as more customers opting for online shopping to enjoy in the comfort of their homes. This connectivity was a long time coming,” he commented.
