Grab has officially rolled out its new GrabUnlimited plans with longer subscription periods, which comes with cheaper fees to help subscribers save even more. Depending on the plan that you opt for, you can now sign up for GrabUnlimited at the minimum price of RM3.99 per month – as compared to the current set price of RM4.90 per month (monthly subscription).
Users will now be able to choose if they’d like to subscribe to GrabUnlimited for one, six, or twelve months – with each subscription period offering different tiers of fees. Here’s the full list of plans for your reference, along with their respective fees:
As you can expect, the 12-month GrabUnlimited plan offers the best value, letting you save a considerable total of RM10.90, as compared to subscribing to the one-month plan for 12 months – but you need to be a heavy Grab user in order to make the subscription worth it. Meanwhile, getting the six-month plan will save you RM2.40.
As for the perks provided under GrabUnlimited, they will all remain unchanged; you’ll still be entitled to a variety of GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabCar, and GrabRewards benefits. Among other things, these include GrabFood Hot Deals + Free Delivery vouchers (up to RM15 discount), GrabMart Payday Deals + Free Delivery vouchers (up to RM15 discount), and RM5 discount vouchers for Grab Rides from airports.
More importantly, you’ll continue to earn 1.5 GrabRewards for every RM1 that you spend on the Grab app, and redeem GrabRewards vouchers at an exclusive rate of 500 GrabRewards for RM5. For comparison, non-members earn 0.75 GrabRewards for every RM1 spent, and get a GrabRewards redemption rate of 750 GrabRewards for RM5.
If you’re interested in checking out the new GrabUnlimited plans, Grab is currently also offering an ongoing promo where you get to enjoy a two-month trial for free before your selected plan kicks in. You can find out more about these latest GrabUnlimited plans and the free trial within your Grab app; just tap on “Subscription” in your Account page, followed by “GrabUnlimited”.
Aside from these updated GrabUnlimited plans, Grab had also previously noted that it has several other new features in the pipeline, to be rolled out gradually over the next few months. These include a brand-new Stamp Cards feature as well as an enhanced GrabFood Group Order feature – all parked under its #SavewithGrab initiative to help budget-conscious Malaysians.
