Maybank is currently running its Scan & Pay Chinese New Year 2021 Promotional Cashback campaign, which lets customers win up to RM88 cashback with a minimum spend of RM30 at more than 250,000 merchants nationwide. Ongoing until 2 March 2021, you will need to make your purchases using the Scan & Pay function on the Maybank2u or MAE by Maybank2u (MAE) app.

Open to all active Maybank2u or MAE customers who have registered to use the Scan & Pay function, you are allowed up to win up to two cashback rewards – valued between RM0 to RM88 – throughout the entire campaign period. The value of the cashback will be determined by a randomiser programme.

Do note that your source of funds for the Scan & Pay function must be set to your Maybank current, savings, or MAE accounts to qualify for this campaign. Additionally, make sure that your Maybank2u and MAE apps are updated to the latest versions as only Scan & Pay transactions performed via the Maybank2u app (vers. 5.6 and above) and MAE app (vers. 0.6.4 and above) are eligible.

If you do win, the cashback will be credited to your current account within seven working days. The total cashback allocated by the bank for this whole campaign is capped at RM1 million.

On top of receiving cashback, customers participating in this campaign will also earn chances to join All Sorts of ONG, although Maybank has yet to reveal specific details about this activity. “You can also earn chances to play All Sorts of ONG and win RM7 million worth of cash and vouchers! Stay tuned,” said the bank in its website.

You can also double the benefits earned by participating in the ongoing Sama-Sama Lokal MAE-KE IT ONG campaign as well. The Sama-Sama Lokal MAE-KE IT ONG campaign lets you enjoy free deliveries worth up to RM20 with no minimum spend when you purchase items at participating Sama-Sama Lokal merchants via the Maybank2u app. That said, you need to make your Sama-Sama Lokal purchases between now until 3 February, with delivery starting from 6 to 8 February. It is also only applicable in Klang Valley and Pahang.
