Maybank is currently organising the Scan & Pay Earn Up To RM100 Cashback Every Day campaign, in conjunction with the upcoming Ramadan celebration. Ongoing until 31 May 2022, customers will be able to win up to RM100 cashback daily when they spend at least RM30 via the Scan & Pay function on the Maybank2u or MAE by Maybank2u app with participating merchants.

Open to those who have an active bank account with Maybank and are registered to use the Scan & Pay function, the cashback rewards offered can value between RM0.10 to RM100 – with each customer allowed to win one cashback reward per day. The amount will be determined by a randomiser programme used by the bank.

There are more than 300,000 participating merchants that you can shop with in order to benefit from this campaign – from grocery and convenience stores to fashion, to restaurants and pharmacies. Major participating brands include Aeon and Aeon BiG, Lotus’s, Village Grocer, Starbucks, as well as Guardian and Caring Pharmacy.

As you tap into the campaign perks, note that the funds for your Scan & Pay function must come from your Maybank current, savings, or MAE account, and not other source of funds. If your Scan & Pay is funded from a Maybank debit or credit card, then your transaction will not qualify for the campaign, and you will not earn any cashback. Additionally, you are not allowed to split your bills in order to redeem multiple cashback rewards.

Aside from that, make sure to update your Maybank2u and MAE app to the latest version before you begin shopping. Maybank clarified that only payments made via the Maybank2u app (version 8.7 and above) and MAE app (version 0.8.5) will be eligible for the campaign.

All cashback rewards earned will be credited into your account within seven working days from each eligible transaction, and you will also be notified of your win through your app. A total of RM2 million has been earmarked for the entire campaign.
