Insurance provider Tune Protect has introduced a new mobile application, the Tune Protect App, to enhance its customers’ digital experience. The app comes with a variety of features that lets Tune Protect customers digitally self-manage their insurance policies at any time.
On the Tune Protect App, users can get a quick quote as well as buy an insurance plan instantly. It also allows you to look at all your policies in one place, submit and track insurance claims, and contact customer support, all within the app itself. Moreover, customers who have opted for the Pay-As-You-Drive benefit for the Tune Protect Motor Easy plan can use the app to capture their odometer reading while driving.
“Every feature of the app was designed with the intent for it to be a one-stop and go-to platform for customers,” said How Kim Lian, Group Chief Financial Officer of Tune Protect. “Our focus is to deliver value-added services that users can engage with anytime, anywhere and to make protection easily accessible and manageable for our customers.”
Tune Protect touted the launch of its app as “timely” especially given the lifestyle shift in the new normal, with many consumers moving their transactions online. The digital insurer also cited a 2018 report by Comscore which found that Malaysia is one of the top 3 countries with the greatest share of mobile app usage time at 92%, just behind Mexico (94%) and Argentina (95%).
