Win Up To 9,000 GrabRewards Points With Grab’s Latest Maybank Bonanza Challenge
Author Avatar

Between today until 31 December 2021, Grab is running a Bonanza Challenge for Maybank credit cardholders that allows them to win up to 9,000 GrabRewards Points. To earn these bonus Points, you need to spend a specified amount on your Maybank credit cards by making GrabFood or GrabMart purchases, or by topping up your GrabPay e-wallet.

This campaign occurs in two variations: Challenge 1 and 2, which requires you to spend either a total of RM3,000 to win 8,000 GrabRewards Points, or RM4,500 to earn 9,000 GrabRewards Points (local spend only). The total spend criteria for each challenge must be met via two milestones, as is shown below:

Note that you will not be able to choose the challenge that you’d like to participate in. Instead, Grab will assign either Challenge 1 or 2 to you based on your eligibility, and you can then activate it within your Grab app to play it once. You can also keep track of your progress status within the app at any time, under the “Challenges” tile in your Grab account page.

Grab further clarified that all cardholders who participate in this challenge must save their credit card details when reloading their GrabPay; opting out of this step will disqualify them. Do be aware as well that discounts and promo codes do not count towards the spend requirement. To illustrate, if you use an RM5 promo code to deduct from an RM20 GrabMart purchase, only the final RM15 paid will contribute to the required spend amount for the challenge.

Finally, upon the completion your assigned challenge, the GrabRewards Points earned will be awarded to you within five working days. These Points do not count towards tier upgrades, and their validity will not be extended either.
