Between now until August 2021, Maybank is running several campaigns that allow its customers to win a variety of rewards, including prizes of up to RM100 as well as cashback of up to RM5 (daily) and RM10 (weekly). Depending on the different campaigns, you will be required to carry out specific transactions via selected payment methods in order to earn the rewards.
Here are three campaigns that you can tap into during this period of time:
Campaign period: 17 June – 15 August 2021
All Maybank customers who have activated their Scan & Pay feature will be given three chances to win random cashback valued between RM0 to RM100 throughout the whole campaign period. To earn the rewards, they are required to carry out a Scan & Pay transaction of RM0.01 using the special “1-SENsation” QR code provided by Maybank.
According to Maybank, you can either scan the 1-SENsation QR code with your MAE by Maybank2u (MAE) or Maybank2u mobile banking app, or keep a screenshot of the code to upload from your phone’s photo gallery.
Note, though, that the three chances to obtain the cashback are allotted according to the following schedule, so remember to mark your calendar if you are participating:
Maybank further stated that those who wish to join this campaign must ensure that the source of fund for their Scan & Pay feature is set to either their MAE account or Maybank current/savings accounts. Transactions that are funded via credit and debit cards are not considered eligible for the campaign.
All cashback earned via this campaign will be credited into the customer’s account within 7 working days. The total cashback that can be awarded for this campaign is capped at RM1 million.

Campaign period: 22 June – 22 August 2021
In this second campaign, Maybank customers will be entitled to a daily chance of earning a random cashback valued between RM0 to RM5 by spending a minimum of RM10 in a single transaction with participating merchants. These payments must also be carried out using the Scan & Pay feature on the MAE app.
As many as 250,000 merchants nationwide are involved in this campaign, encompassing categories such as groceries, pharmacy and healthcare, as well as F&B. Major brands include EconSave, Mydin, Guardian Pharmacy, Starbucks, and McDonald’s.
Similar to the Scan & Pay 1 Sen-sation campaign, you must also set the source of fund for the Scan & Pay feature to either your MAE account or Maybank current and savings account. All Scan & Pay transactions that are funded via debit or credit cards do not count for this campaign.
Additionally, the amount of cashback that is to be awarded will be determined through a randomiser programme, and it will be provided on a first-come first-served basis. Eligible customers who have earned the cashback will be notified via a push notification on the MAE app, and the cashback will be credited instantly into their account.

Campaign period: 22 June – 22 August 2021
This campaign gives you the chance to earn weekly cashback rewards of RM10 when you carry out at least two bill payments or prepaid reloads during the week on the MAE app. This is on top of other additional grand and bonus prizes that you can also win when you have performed a specified number of transactions throughout the whole campaign period.
To begin, Maybank customers will stand a chance to win the RM10 weekly cashback when they perform at least two bill payments or prepaid reloads in the same week on their MAE app. Each transaction must come up to at least RM20 in order to qualify for the campaign. Upon meeting these requirements, you’ll then be in the running to win the weekly prize of RM10 cashback.
A total of 4,000 winners will be chosen each week, and all eligible customers are allowed to win up to RM90 cashback throughout the whole campaign period (RM10 x 9 weeks). Note that only direct payments made through Maybank current and savings accounts, as well as MAE accounts are valid for the campaign. Upon winning, the cashback rewards will be credited to you either in August (for winners between 22 June – 31 July) or September (for winners between 1 – 31 August).
On top of the weekly prizes, this campaign also offers several additional grand and bonus prizes when you meet the following criteria:

The winners for the grand and bonus prizes will be selected and announced within 60 days after the end of the campaign period, either on Maybank’s official Facebook page or the campaign page. The bank further clarified that customers who have won weekly prizes in this campaign may also be in the running to win either the grand prize or the bonus prize – but not both.

A final note – remember to update your MAE or Maybank2u app to their latest versions before participating in any of the above campaigns! This is because Maybank has stated that only transactions carried out on the MAE app (version 0.6.8) will be accepted.
