The Maybank2u website and mobile application are experiencing issues with “intermittent slowness” this morning.

Following complaints from Maybank users who faced long wait times or were even unable to log in completely, the bank posted a statement on twitter just before noon addressing the situation.

“Kindly be informed that our Maybank2u web and app are currently experiencing some intermittent slowness but our MAE app is operating as normal,” Maybank stated. “You may log in to the MAE app using your existing Maybank2u User ID & Password to perform banking transactions available in Maybank2u app such as transfer funds and pay bills.”

Maybank further apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked users for their patience while the bank worked to resolve the issue “as soon as possible.”

When members of our team tried to log into Maybank this morning, we were met with mixed results. Some of us had no issue logging in whatsoever, while one of us was completely unable to log in to the website, Maybank2u app, and even the MAE app – even though Maybank claimed that the MAE app is not facing any issues.
