Boost has revised the earning rates for its loyalty programme BoostUP, where users earn Boost Coins on transactions made using the Boost e-wallet. Effective 29 July 2020, Boost users across all levels of membership can earn more coins for every Ringgit spent than before.

Here’s a comparison of the Boost Coins earning rates from before and after the update.

Before 29 July 2020 After 29 July 2020
Level 1 1 Boost Coin for every RM3 spent up to 1 Boost Coin for every RM1 spent
Level 2 1 Boost Coin for every RM2 spent up to 1.5 Boost Coins for every RM1 spent
Level 3 1 Boost Coin for every RM1 spent up to 2 Boost Coins for every RM1 spent
Level 4 2 Boost Coins for every RM1 spent up to 4 Boost Coins for every RM1 spent

Alternatively, you can refer to this image shared by Boost in a Facebook post:

Basically, you can now earn up to 1 to 4 Coins for every Ringgit spent using Boost, a potential improvement from the previous earning rate of 0.3 to 2 Coins.

According to Boost, the homegrown e-wallet will also be bringing in more updates and rewards on BoostUP, so users should stay tuned for more.
