Boost’s FlexiRedeem Campaign Allows Users To Redeem Rewards Using Boost Stars And Cash
Author Avatar

Boost is running a BoostUp Day: FlexiRedeem Special campaign between tomorrow and 17 March 2022, which allows users to redeem items from its Rewards Catalogue using a mix of Boost Stars and money from their Boost Wallet.

On top of that, Boost is also allowing all members to receive 8x bonus Boost Stars for the payments made when making FlexiRedeem redemptions. This is regardless of their membership tier in the BoostUP loyalty programme: Red Recruit, Silver Sergeant, and Gold General, which usually offers a multiplier of only 1x, 2x, and 3x points for every RM1 spent, respectively.

So for instance, if you’d like to redeem an item with 2,000 Boost Stars and RM20 via the FlexiRedeem campaign, you’ll be eligible to receive 8x bonus Boost stars for the RM20 payment even if you’re only a Silver Sergeant. This gives you 160 Boost Stars, instead of the 40 Boost Stars that you would have usually gotten outside of this campaign.

Each eligible user is allowed to make multiple redemptions under this campaign; just head on over to the “FlexiRedeem” tab in the BoostUP Rewards Catalogue within your Boost app. Of course, each redemption is subject to the item’s availability. Finally, the bonus Boost Stars earned will be credited into your BoostUP account within seven working days after the end of the campaign period, and will be reflected in your “Boost Stars History” page.

Earlier this year, Boost had announced that it will be allowing more flexible redemptions in 2022, where users can redeem rewards with a combination of Boost Stars and cash. This is among other initiatives that it is also hoping to introduce this year, including a buy-now-pay-later solution.
