Enrich Enables Touch 'n Go eWallet Reload PIN Redemptions Using Enrich Points
Author Avatar

Enrich, the frequent flyer programme for Malaysian Airlines (MAS), now allows members to redeem their Enrich Points for Touch ‘n Go eWallet reload PINs. For a limited time, members can enjoy a 20% redemption discount too.

TNG eWallet reload PINs are the latest additions to the increasing amount of lifestyle redemptions offered by Enrich. Previously, members could redeem restaurant vouchers as well as Shopee vouchers. Now with TNG eWallet reload PINs, members have another way to redeem their Enrich points, and the redemption rates available are as below:

Enrich PointsTNG eWallet reload PIN
1,000 Enrich PointsRM10 TNG eWallet reload PIN
2,000 Enrich PointsRM20 TNG eWallet reload PIN
5,000 Enrich PointsRM50 TNG eWallet reload PIN

This essentially means that each Enrich Point is valued at just 1 sen, which is considerably lower than if you were to redeem the Points for flights – as shown by our calculations here, made based on an assumed flight back in 2020. That said, with flights and travel still being somewhat restricted for the immediate future, exchanging your Enrich Points for TNG eWallet reload PINs may actually work out for some people whose Points are expiring soon. This is unless you’re a Platinum member who is able to tap into the Lifetime Enrich Points feature, allowing you to enjoy evergreen Enrich Points.

Enrich is sweetening the deal with a limited-time-only introductory promo that gives you 20% discount on the redemption rate. This means that if you were to redeem the RM10 TNG eWallet reload PIN via this promo, you will only need 800 Enrich Points instead of the original 1,000 Points. Similarly, the RM20 and RM50 TNG eWallet reload PINs will cost only 1,600 and 4,000 Points, respectively. Under this offer, the value of each Enrich Point increases slightly, but not by much, to 1.25 sen.

Do be aware that redemptions can only be done at the Enrich Online portal, and not at any participating TNG merchant outlets. Also, take note of the validity period of the TNG reload PINs; once you’ve redeemed the reload PINs, you will have between today until 30 November 2021 to utilise them (of course, once reloaded, the value in your TNG wallet does not expire).

Enrich further clarified that there is no limit to the number of reload PINs that you can redeem, as long as you have sufficient Enrich Points to do so. The reload PINs redeemed will be sent to the email that you have registered in your Enrich profile.
