TNG eWallet Launches Goal Hunter Campaign, Offers Up To Five Rewards Of Your Choice
Author Avatar

Touch ‘n Go (TNG) eWallet has introduced a new promotional campaign that lets you redeem up to five rewards of your choice, dubbed the Goal Hunter campaign. Ongoing from today until 31 October 2020, the rewards will be provided in the form of cashback vouchers for a range of merchants and online payments.

To redeem these cashback vouchers, you must first earn stamps by spending at any of the more than 250,000 merchants who accept TNG eWallet payments – both in-store and online. Every RM10 spent will get you one stamp, and you’ll need to collect two stamps to claim one cashback voucher.

The campaign FAQ by TNG eWallet further clarified that while each user can collect multiple stamps in a day, they are limited to a maximum of only 10 stamps throughout the whole campaign period. Note that the following transactions will not be valid for the Goal Hunter campaign:

  • Money transfers
  • eWallet reloads
  • Toll payments via PayDirect/RFID
  • Parking payments via PayDirect
  • Gift card services
  • Purchases made through Touch ‘n Go card

Once you’ve earned the required number of stamps, you can use them to redeem available cashback vouchers of your liking. There are two types of cashback vouchers that you can choose from: merchant-specific vouchers, and assorted vouchers for retail purchases or online payments.

Merchant-specific vouchers include vouchers of various values (up to RM3) from Shell, 7-Eleven, Lazada, Tesco, FamilyMart, Hermo, and Tealive. Meanwhile, assorted vouchers for retail purchases or online payments will range between RM0.30 to RM10 in cashback, applicable to transactions such as over-the-counter payments, parking, prepaid and postpaid telco payments, bills, and e-commerce purchases. Note also that all vouchers are valid for 30 days from the redemption date, and some may have its own conditions for use (such as minimum spend required) – so be sure to double-check.

Altogether, there are seven million cashback vouchers to be given away on a first-come, first-served basis. Of the total, 3.85 million pieces are provided for merchant-specific vouchers – which is broken down further in allocation according to categories, such as F&B, groceries, gas, and so on – and another 3.15 million for retail purchase/online payments vouchers. If you’re aiming for vouchers from a particular category, do take note and redeem as soon as you can!

To join the Goal Hunter campaign, you are required to opt in by tapping on “Goals” under the “My Rewards” section in the main page of your TNG eWallet app; participation is not automatic. Once you’ve tapped on “Start”, you can begin collecting your stamps and redeeming your cashback rewards. Also, this promotion is limited to four million users only; once the quota has been filled, you can no longer join the campaign.
