Starbucks Malaysia has announced that it will be replacing its current Starbucks Rewards Loyalty Programme with a new one, and urged customers with any existing active rewards to redeem their points soon.

“Dear valued members,

Starbucks Rewards is transitioning soon! We would like to bring to your attention that all active rewards from current Starbucks Rewards must be redeemed before 20th June 2021. Any unclaimed rewards will be forfeited on 21st June 2021 and will not be reinstated,” said the popular beverage brand in its mobile app.

Starbucks also informed customers via social media posts that no rewards will be issued for purchases made between 16 June 2021 to 30 June 2021. This is to ensure that the transition will be carried out smoothly.

The existing Starbucks Rewards Loyalty Programme allows customers to earn points as they spend, which they can then use to redeem selected rewards – such as complimentary drinks, food, and coffee beans – on top of additional personalised rewards. The Starbucks Rewards Loyalty Programme be accessed on the Starbucks app.
