Grab Returns With Pointsback And Power Up Campaign For June 2021

It’s the end of June, and Grab is once again running its monthly GrabRewards Pointsback and Grab Power Up campaigns, offering substantial rebates for all Grab users. The GrabRewards Pointsback campaign – which allows you to enjoy up to 40% pointsback on eligible redemptions – will take place between 29-30 June 2021.

Meanwhile, the one-day-only Grab Power Up campaign is set to happen on 30 June 2021. You will have the chance to earn up to 6,000 GrabRewards Points when you spend a minimum of RM180 via GrabPay or Grab PayLater.

GrabRewards Pointsback

Period: 29 June 2021 (10am) – 30 June 2021 (11.59pm)

Under the GrabRewards Pointsback campaign, Grab users will be able to earn between 10% to 40% pointsback when they redeem rewards for Grab services, selected partners, as well as GrabPay e-wallet transactions – depending on their membership tier. This month, the list of rewards are as follows:

Pleasantly, Grab has retained GrabPay Wallet Rewards for this month’s GrabRewards Pointsback campaign as well, allowing you to redeem a discount of RM10-20 for GrabPay online transactions – among other perks. This category of rewards was introduced for the first time in last month’s GrabRewards Pointsback campaign, and offers more flexibility compared to the other rewards that are limited only Grab services or selected partners.

Note that the GrabRewards Pointsback offers are provided on a first-come first-served basis, and will cease upon hitting the total redemption cap. Other than that, each user is also subject to an individual redemption limit, as follows:

To give you an idea of how much savings you can get through this campaign, the usual redemption rate for Grab is set at 800 GrabRewards Points for RM5, which is equivalent to RM0.625 per GrabRewards Point. With this campaign, however, each GrabRewards Point can go up to a maximum value of 1.04 sen. Assuming that you’re a Platinum member, your rate of return will then increase from the usual 1.875% to 3.125% – which is really quite generous!

Grab Power Up

Period: 30 June 2021

The one-day-only Grab Power Up campaign is also back for June, allowing you to earn 15x GrabRewards Points and 30x GrabRewards Points when you spend at least RM180 online via GrabPay and PayLater by Grab, respectively. The earnings for both are capped at 6,000 Points each, and you can tap into the deal for both payment methods – which means you can technically earn 12,000 Points in total.

Major brands that are participating in this campaign include Fashion Valet, PrestoMall, Caring Pharmacy, The Face Shop, and BMS Organic. You are allowed two redemptions per spend category.

Note that the number of redemptions are capped for each payment type as well. There is a limit of 8,000 redemptions for GrabPay transactions, and 1,500 redemptions for PayLater by Grab transactions. As always, these redemptions are awarded on a first-come first-served basis, and the Points will be awarded instantly upon completion of eligible transactions.
