Lazada officially kicked off its 12.12 All-Out Year-End Sale today with a balloon voucher drop event at Publika Shopping Gallery, which allowed Malaysians to win vouchers worth over RM45,000 for their upcoming purchases by popping voucher-filled balloons that were released at the location. Prizes that were up for grabs included Lazada platform, seller, and free shipping vouchers.

In a statement, Lazada said that this balloon drop is the first of a series of kick-off events set to take place between today until 11 December, with another balloon drop scheduled to happen at Genting Highlands tomorrow. Following that, there will be two more balloon drop events in Penang and Johor.

Aside from these balloon drops, Lazada also queued several other exciting experiences in the days leading up to the actual 12.12 All-Out Year End Sale, which is happening between 12 to 14 December 2022. For instance, there will be a Lazada roadshow at SkyAvenue at Resorts World Genting tomorrow to give the public a preview of its Mesti Beli deals at 12.12 Sale pricing on the app, which they can purchase and collect on the spot. Additionally, the public can tap into Lazada’s Try & Buy feature to purchase sample-sized products at the roadshow, before buying the full-sized item during the actual 12.12 Sale with extra discounts.

On top of that, the e-commerce platform is also hosting the biggest physical Lazzie Hunt at Skytropolis, SkyAvenue tomorrow – where members of the public can collect Lazzies tokens in exchange for rewards sponsored by notable brands. Meanwhile, those who are unable to make it for the physical hunt can complete daily Lazzie Hunt missions found in their Lazada app between today until 19 December 2022 to earn a range of prizes, such as Lazada Wallet rebates, LazCoins, free shipping vouchers, Lazada Bonus, and branded prizes.
